Here at Burnett Meats we are a family owned and operated business! Back in 2011 Nathanael and Cindy Burnett started Burnett Deer Processing right down the road from their family's home with the hopes that their children would be able to work and be involved in the family business as they grew. After 10 years of growing into a successful deer processing business with hundreds of satisfied customers, Burnett Deer Processing became Burnett Meats in 2021. We expanded to offer Custom Butchering for local farmers in the area as well as offer quality meat to our ever growing customer base. Also, in January of 2024, we were excited to receive our Grant of Inspection, which opened up a great field of possibilities. We currently serve beef and hog farmers and customers in Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois and Missouri. All 5 of the Burnett children have been able work in different capacities in the business since 2011 and some now work full time positions. The oldest son, Nathan, is the Taxidermist for the Taxidermy side of Burnett Meats and the second son, Lindal, is the Assistant Manager. Not only has the business grown, but family has continued to grow as well! Since 2011 a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and 4 grandchildren have been added to the family.
